i'm going to inform you why i downvoted you. it is not because i disagree with what you said, but because of the forum you are saying it in.
your point is, whilst true, irrelevant to the way reddit is run. they are not providing a forum for racists, simply providing a forum in which racists can exist, and this is an important point.
because in this forum, crazy sex fetishes can exist, anti male forums can exist, pro gay marriage forums can exist, pro legalisation of drugs forums can exist, hell, heaven forbid, a right wing forum could even exist...
