Almost all East and SE Asians have pale brown to dark brown nipples unless they have albinism, and yes, portraying women with bright pink nipples as the height of beauty is definitely a Eurocentric beauty standard and also very colorist. There’s a huge industry of lightening creams specially marketed to Asian women to bleach sensitive areas like nipples, and like all lightening creams they can damage skin, cause cancer, etc.
So this is a deadly serious health issue, and one that doesn’t get enough attention because of the over-sexualization of breasts.
The vast majority of the world has brown nipples and shouldn’t be under constant racist/misogynist pressure to change their color.

I had a conversation last night with some Californian folks about whether racism is worse in the South or here. And pretty much nobody knew that more ppl have died at the hands of cops in California this year than anywhere else in the US.
Californians really tend to underestimate how racist our state is. There’s places in the South that are WAY safer for a Black person than Oakland or Los Angeles.
Racially, we are absolutely not a progressive state. There’s no such thing as a progressive state when it comes to racism.
And then there’s that inconvenient history about how Nazi eugenics found root in California…
When I moved from Seattle to the Bay, I was thinking shit was going to be BETTER, but I found it was just more stratification except everyone lived right on top of each other and worked EXTRA hard to self segregate to uphold their racism.
north carolina was the least segregated place I ever lived in, and the place where my local friend network was the most racially diverse. california and ohio are pretty severely segregated, but in different ways.

The illusionist was trapped in a box by 10 metal swords during a show in the Japanese city of Sabae, breaking several ribs and her right cheek.
One of the swords "would have been stuck in her right eye if it were one centimetre higher", her manager Noboru Ochiai said.
"It will take a month to heal the wounds," he added.

Renowned for her elaborate costumes and doll make-up, the magician was injured performing a trick billed as The Spike Illusion in the Face of Death.
She was supposed to escape a box the moment it was speared by 10 fake metal swords, but instead was pinned inside.

"She is suffering tremendous pain but is more shocked that she had to call off performances," Mr Ochiai said.

my little cousin fell off a chair and bumper head and i feel so awful. she has no concussion symptoms and her pediatrician was like "... why did you even call, just watch her" but i'm still paranoid she'll die in her sleep or smth.
