the industry is really abusive and awful, there is extreme pressure to fit a very very artificial look and there's pressure not to date or have any romantic relationships because they need to keep up an image of availability to their more deluded fans, sexual abuse of female and sometimes male idols from managers and other people in charge of them. also there is really really serious issues with stalking from fans (one incident was an EXO member's older brother's wedding being crashed by stalker fans who wanted photos of the bandmates attending)
