i'll never say suicide is the only option but i can understand why so many people feel that way bc the way mi is so stigmatized in many societies

i think not just improving mental health but also working to reduce a lot of shitty societal conditions like abuse and systemic issues would help with people not feeling so desperate, there was a good article talking about how marginalizations can contribute a lot to stuff like situation depression

i never want 2 see anyone commit suicide but i feel like it shouldn't be that hard 2 have compassion and empathy for ppl who DO feel like it's their only option jfc

yeah exactly i will never believe that someone should commit suicide, but understanding the facotrs of why people can feel that way and getting that its not always about their brain, isn't saying that its right for people to commit suicide

jfc literally no one is saying "i have no empathy for ppl who have committed suicide"

but acting like they made the best choice is doing them a huge disservice

some ppl get better after being suicidal and you don't know who those people will be, even people whose situation looked so bad that you fuckers say suicide was their ~best option
