there are no real answers and it doesn't seem like it matters

but what do u do when yr at the melting point all the time bc u just don't have the resources to deal and won't for a while like many ppl?

i'm legit scared about how my life seems fucked up and doesn't seem to have a future

i've tried everything tbh while waiting for a psych appt. i mean everything is a very very very temp stopgap and i'm legit bursting at the seams. i keep thinking i should quit my job and just check into a state hospital or be judged insane somehow

rn i can't afford therapy and have no way of getting there bc im barely making ends meet as it is

don't hate yourself for not being able to get help rn, there is hope for everyone even if it seems impossible now

i'm at the same point where they have 1 resource but i have no way of getting there.

right now i feel like u can't have hope for everyone and idk just sorta waiting around for it to one day get better is unhealthy. making yourself do a whole bunch of shit to take away the pain doesn't make the problem go away.

waiting on therapy and self help stuff is all super generic stuff to me that doesn't help. it's all self affirming stuff that i can't deal with. idk how to explain that i believe it works for some ppl but it's not been working for me.

nayrt nona i feel like you might not get nice responses to this but i know how you feel

i've tried those things for almost 15 years now bc i've had depression a long time and they don't seem to be helping me either

mental illness isn't one set standard, what helps others might not help you but that doesn't mean there isn't anything that can help

unforch anon just can't give you the type of help you need but don't let it make you feel like you're hopeless

i'm sorry nona i know that feeling. i'm at the point where i need to just have a conversation about it and really sort out everything, but i know even psychiatrists are gonna try and project false hope when i just want to stop thinking about it.

i think if you have a really good therapist they won't try the false hope thing on you, they're meant to listen to your needs and go from there

it doesn't make it magically go away but it can improve ur quality of life or w/e
