i love most asian pickled things, i love most southern european pickled things, i love the pickled shit you get in the southern US

but there is something about german pickles in particular that tastes so off

like the ingredients that go into one of the pickles that's a traditional dish in my culture taste so good together, and like you can actually tell what they were (lql if that makes sense)
