as a child i refused to read anything w/talking horses/cats/dragons/etc

i was very anti-horse/dragon/cat/wolf and tbh i think its bc i rped on the neopets boards and me and my neofriends made fun of those ppl

aw some of my fav books had talking animals

i really loved patricia c wrede's enchanted forest series as a kid but then a few years ago i found out she was horrifically racist

talking animal books are just so bad.

lol i was one of those people

i did wolf rps like crazy and i was a slightly above average writer for my age so i ran a little group of wolf rpers and used to boss them around and constantly give them crit, i was a little shit

then i grew out of it and joined in on mocking them

lol that is ridiculous

it was but it was entertaining at the time. i was a latchkey kid so im just glad in retrospect that i was wasting my time on neopets and not more unsavory parts of the internet

i like most types of talking animal books, but to this day i h8 talking cat books or rly any fantasy book focused on cats
