he was talking about how he just ~couldn't understand her~ and then mixed in "i also think ppl are medicating sadness away bc they don't know how to be human anymore"

plus he obviously subscribes to the mindset of "oh women and those wacky emotions of theirs"

lql have you ever been a non-teenager in the same household as a teenager

they are in fact difficult to understand

not if you aren't a self-absorbed asshole tbh

ppl write off teenagers that way bc they don't want to be bothered w/ learning what's average development and what isn't. i had severe depression in high school and literally everyone wrote it off as "oh she's just a silly teenager"

p much every medical issue and depression related issue i had was just "oh teenagers"

if only someone made a movie about normal adolescence, so uninformed ppl might watch it and get an idea of whether their own child's development is normal or not
