otherkin summer camps where we make paper mache masks and stuff that resemble out kintypes
play outside together and feel the wind under our winds
our paws in the dirt
where at night, we are so far away from the city lights that when we look up we see reflection of ourselves
we get free snacks…
ALSO IMAGINE
THOSE WINDY THINGS THAT YOU WEAR THE THING AND THE GIANT FAN BLASTS U UP OMG
nothing wrong with mismatched earrings or socks
"Outlier, outlaw, outcast: The improbable scientific career ..."--Science Magazine
"It is not your usual story of a life in science. In frank and poignant prose ..."--Science Magazine
"Once he was incarcerated, however, survival skills took precedence over book learning. He learned to endure all manner of random violence ..."--Science Magazine
"The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Georgia Institute of Technology, the University of Michigan, and the University of Southern California also wanted him."--Science Magazine
Inadmissible—featured in Science Magazine—chronicles the unlikely story of a young Egyptian who emigrated to the U.S. in pursuit of the American dream, and how his one mistake—claiming to be a U.S. citizen in order to qualify for federal student loans—landed him behind bars along with some of America’s most notorious offenders, and slated him for immediate deportation upon the end of his prison term.
Five years later, however, the Egyptian student would earn his PhD from one of the finest scientific research universities in the U.S.—Caltech—only to find himself, once again, on the wrong end of the American justice system. Only this time the separation from his American daughter would be forever, as he remains in the eyes of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement: Inadmissible.
The memoir chronicles the flaws in the American justice system that mark felons for a lifetime of discrimination, and immigration laws that rip apart families and leave the most vulnerable—the children—without parents.
It’s an account of innocence and youth; of persistence and heartbreak; of unsuspecting underdogs and egotistical overlords. But ultimately it’s the true tale of one man’s journey, lived through believing in himself and believing in the good hearts of the people who stuck by him.

try not committing financial aid and immigration fraud then
ugh i just started a new internship at a preschool and i feel like one of the main teachers hates me. it was my first day so obviously i didn't know all the rules yet and i didn't know kids couldn't move toys between areas or had to clean up things immediately after using them. some kids mixed a few plastic materials and the main teacher got mad about that and told me and another teacher that she'd spent "half an hour today cleaning up kids activities!!!!" so we were like oh sorry
then later the kids were dancing to some song and there were like, 3 plastic animals on the ground nearby. the main teacher came over again and freaked out that we weren't making kids clean things up immediately and said that they needed to be cleaned up. then before giving us a chance to move to pick them up or tell a kid to she's like "what did I JUST SAY?!!!!!!"
like calm down

I often light a fire and dance around it calling forth the demons of the night to burn in the fire therefore I can sleep peacefully without disturbance.
The way Sera behaves, particularly towards Lavellans, is abusive. Straight out. It is. The ultimatum she gives you is probably the best example but it’s only an example. She also reminds you right at the beginning of the romance that she finds elven bodies physically repulsive and constantly shames you for being proud of who you are. She constantly puts you down and makes you feel unworthy. She also physically threatens you at several points, based on your behaviour. I don’t remember anyone in the romances doing that. That’s not cute, that is abuse. When I romanced her, I was constantly feeling uncomfortable and threatened and I’m lucky enough not to be a survivor. We won’t get into the irresponsible writing there. Let’s just…not. The point is, as charamei said, the respect of the Inquisitor as a person and their own agency.
Solas is not perfect but even when you make choices he fundamentally disagrees with when you romance him, he expresses them but doesn’t stay angry for long. Even when you keep your vallaslin and refuse to renounce your beliefs related to them, he doesn’t get upset or angry. If anyone has a reason to want to to renounce your beliefs, it’s Solas. But at the end of the day, he fundamentally respects you as a person. He breaks up with you because he loves you too much and he’s going to forget his mission.
idg y ppl make so many excuses for solas, he's arrogant, condescending, and ugly

seeing girls on tumblr glorify and fangirl over murderers makes me sick tbh
especially when those crimes included violence towards other women
i'll never understand them

Don't talk to me when I'm gazing out a window, I'm either sad that my pussy hurts or thinking about Method Man & Redman sharing a blanket

B: I have to say—I got a feeling I am going to win in the long run, but I want to be part of the zeitgeist, too. I want to support young girls who are in their 20s now and tell them: You’re not just imagining things. It’s tough. Everything that a guy says once, you have to say five times. Girls now are also faced with different problems. I’ve been guilty of one thing: After being the only girl in bands for 10 years, I learned—the hard way—that if I was going to get my ideas through, I was going to have to pretend that they—men—had the ideas. I became really good at this and I don’t even notice it myself. I don’t really have an ego. I’m not that bothered. I just want the whole thing to be good. And I’m not saying one bad thing about the guys who were with me in the bands, because they’re all amazing and creative, and they’re doing incredible things now. But I come from a generation where that was the only way to get things done. So I have to play stupid and just do everything with five times the amount of energy, and then it will come through.
When people don’t credit me for the stuff I’ve done, it’s for several reasons. I’m going to get very methodical now! [laughs] One! I learned what a lot of women have to do is make the guys in the room think it was their idea, and then you back them up. Two! I spend 80% of the writing process of my albums on my own. I write the melodies. I’m by the computer. I edit a lot. That for me is very solitary. I don’t want to be photographed when I’m doing that. I don’t invite people around. The 20% of the album process when I bring in the string orchestras, the extras, that’s documented more. That’s the side people see. When I met M.I.A., she was moaning about this, and I told her, “Just photograph yourself in front of the mixing desk in the studio, and people will go, ‘Oh, OK! A woman with a tool, like a man with a guitar.’” Not that I’ve done that much myself, but sometimes you’re better at giving people advice than doing it yourself. I remember seeing a photo of Missy Elliott at the mixing desk in the studio and being like, a-ha

i would kill for some creative f/f immortal/mortal. if i could write, i'd be on that, biba
(also lql the st8 version is the worst
the immortal dude/mortal chick is p bad, where the chick is so naive and he teaches her his ways
the immortal chick/mortal dude is so much worse, though, because you have so many nasty pedoshit dudes living out their "oh she looks and acts 12 but she's really 3000" fantasies, or the best case scenario, she's an ancient being that is out of touch with the world and he has to teach her how to function in the modern era
funny how in both scenarios, the women are still the naive dumbalines)
