idk why people assume single mothers all just up and thought "hey you know what'd be great? raising my kid alone and being judged for it"

um i don't think that though. my whole family is made of single mothers. it's that they had shit for men whose expectations were different and they didn't talk about it.

not u biba, but the ppl who are like 'well if I marry him clearly he'll get his head out of his ass and be a good dad'

that was my family but the reasoning was, "well if i have his baby he'll be mine."

that's basically what's happening to someone i know. she just got married and went of her bc and got preggers bc that's what she wanted and he immediately filed for divorce. it's only been a couple months :/

who said that tho? it's just a fact that ppl choose marriage to try and gain stability and wrap themselves up in that while not having a backup plan. it sucks but you can't rely on anyone else but yourself even if u love someone
