idk i'm bi, and i would commit if i was with a woman, even though i can't get married.

there are decisions i wouldn't want to do with a plain old relationship, like having kids, or a house. a dog was bad enough.

my bf and i are committed for as long as we make each other happy, and we plan for that to be a lifetime, but we still aren't getting married

it's a family thing to me. no one in my family had a successful marriage, it sucks being a single mother, it sucks dating while being a single mother, it sucks having a person around that you really can't stand because of the kid.

i've been in long term relationships too. but they're not like marriage imo.
