no idea how i would go about building my own refrigerator, for one, or an internal combustion engine, much less a computer. and while i have a general understanding of how electricity is generated i have no idea how to go about putting theory into practice

idk i was just reading a short story about a guy who travelled back to roman times and introduced all sorts of scientific innovations and it kind of blew my mind when i stopped to try and think about what i would be able to introduce, in his shoes.
