funny thing about that, i remember it so vividly because it was so traumatic

i had $10 and bought a gumball machine. the lady gave me change as if i'd given her a $50. why the fuck she would think a 7 year old had $50 i'll never know.

anyway i go out to the car with my new gumball machine and money in pocket. my mom asks what i bought and i show her and shes like "huh? you got that with $10?" and im like "yeah and i got change back!" and showed her. my mom realized what happened and took me back into the store to return the money and explain what happened, and the woman working there yelled at me and called me a theif.
