you release them and pretend they were killed in battle

make a box and call it THE MORGUE and put all your fainted pokemon in there instead?

but that's so morbid and il my pixel babies too much

I'd rather just play the game pretending it's a magic world where most pokemon are careful enough to avoid seriously injuring one another and free hospitals are in every city

yeah there's a bunch of rules

1. if ur pogeys faint, you consider them dead and can't use them anymore

2. you can only catch the first pokemon you encounter on a new route

there's more but those are the only ones i remember
