i don't think it would be a logical decision like that, it'd be instinct

i saved a kid from getting hit by a car and i didn't know him - i ended up breaking my leg after i shoved him out of the way

i assume it'd be the same way with a bullet

i would for most people. unless maybe i thought my death would hurt them more than theirs, like for my mother. although even then i think i would.
