nayrt but frankly age doesn't matter to me, everyone "in fandom" is funny to me

don't see the point in loling at 24yo working adults but not at college students of the same age

i thought "in fandom" could go from anything to just reading fic to actually participating and producing fanworks and whatnot

it's just a hobby like knitting or w/e, don't get what's so weird about it unless they go extreme, which can happen with anyone and any hobby

for me it's the self-description of "in fandom"

sure it's one thing to like playing tf2 or reading harry potter or whatever , it's to me another to be "in fandom"

what's wrong with it, jw. i say that online as a way of letting people know i participate. wouldn't say it out loud irl since it's pretty irrelevant.
