but bullying and criticism are not the same thing

also that shit that's not ~socially acceptable is usually either nbd (see: picking on a kid for wearing glasses or what the fuck ever) or really harmful to the kids because it reinforces things society at large already tells them is "wrong" about them (i.e. the shitload of bullying that is racist, transphobic, homophobic, misogynist, classist, ableist, etc.)

there's a difference between telling someone who's acting inappropriately to fuck off and relentlessly hounding a kid ffs
