i have a similar situation on my street, where from far away it looks like a cul de sac but it actually turns into another street. and then people park on both sides so you have to drive down the middle of the road and you cant see the other street until you've already started turning onto it.
had a guy almost hit me going like, 40 and then sat there until i backed up so he could pass. i flipped him off as he drove by.
