idk i think ppl also have a thing about psychosis where if u have it ppl think of u as legit psychotic 100% of the time

so then they don't listen to u about shit

but there's also a kind of legitimacy that people perceive when you talk about shit you don't have, partly bc of the doctors know better than you attitude and partly bc ppl think not having experience with something makes u ~unbiased~ (see dudes on sexism)
