i'm generally shameless about fandom, but the earliest time that i'll be able to see avengers will be w/ my dad, who's aware of my love for bad superhero movies but isn't into them that much

should i get him to see thor or sth first? how awkward or embarrassing would it be to get him to sit through that movie if he doesn't enjoy the whole "so bad it's good" thing it has going on?
