the problem is stupid shit is often mixed with oppression shit, and as long as anything related to oppression can NEVER be funny and NEVER be laughed at, you get communities like sf_d and fandom_wank which are overwhelmingly humorless and cringe-inducing

not saying we should go back to to mengus days, but there has to be a medium somewhere

idk to take an example i think chaya claiming brunettes are oppressed in sweden is hilarious but the cake incident in itself is horrifying

both have to do with oppression but there is simply no humour in that racist cake whatsoever whereas chaya being a stupid ass is mock worthy
