Although findings on the l, g, and t in lgbt are discussed, no bisexual-specific findings are mentioned - and there is no mention of why. When bisexuals are mentioned they're lumped in with lesbians and gay men, as if social science and public health outcomes never show a difference between the groups. In reality, people attracted to more than one gender face unique challenges and occupy a different space in society from gay men and lesbians. It's really important to discuss systemic sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination and how it affects fair pay. I'm disappointed people like me are erased from that discussion when one of our letters is right there in the acronym.

I mean, there's really almost no such thing (since as you point out, the different groups face different outcomes), and usually when the acronym is used, one or another letter is really just tacked on there. Shit, I've read a lot of "LGBT" content and had contact with more than one "LGBT" organization that are really all about T T T T T. Which, that's fine, but why do you have to pretend like you are concerned about our issues too, when you are clearly not?
