anon the mind is a strange thing. plenty of ppl hallucinate for plenty of reasons. and tbh all we have to go on that they didn't know about x is their word. they might even believe what they're saying, but the brain is predisposed to remember things but not where you learned them. it makes sense that someone could have heard or read something, forgot about it, and have that memory triggered by something they see or hear
