Considering that the very term "otherkin" was created by the Silver Elves in the '80s or late '70s and coopted by the rest of us... and that the first gathering places for 'kin were listservs... and that once_winged and several others existed back in 2001, when I joined and awakened.

You're the one setting the example for the people around you... like the fellow above you who decided to make assumptions about how long I'd been in the community, and state how long he had as a basis for making his point. You're a leader, so you should at least get your facts straight.
