i have a terrible reading level due to being unable to read when i was little and actually learning to properly read a book just 10 years ago.

and people always tell me to stop reading YA now i'm an adult and go for adult books because they are challenging and could improve my reading, but ya is much simpler, they use simple sentences and words, and they are much shorter. i have to strain to read them as it is due to my dyslexia.

i get so annoyed by people who say that to me when they see me reading them.
