this makes me laugh a lot bc i LIVE in amish coutntry and 1. no amish person is addressed as father. literally none. not even their pastor (who is the Bishop) two SINCE WHEN DO THEY EVER ADDRESS SOMEONE AS ‘LADY’, THEY DON’T DO THAT, 3. they don’t talk even slightly like that, despite what every movie ever has said about them, and 4. they probably have seen this because they all have smartphones with data and probably all of the teenagers have secret social media accounts. they have to turn their phones off in their houses, but when you pass a buggy on the highway you see ‘em in there.... texting
