I love Toto and this song (although 99 would have to be my absolute favourite of theirs). One winter, in the early 1990s, the local area suffered a power cut and our village was without any electricity from Wednesday morning until Sunday lunchtime. I remember listening to the radio by candlelight on the Thursday evening and hearing AFrica being played. When it finished, the presenter said he liked it so much he was going to play it all over again. And he did. So whenever I hear it now, I'm back in the candlelit living room, with the open fire roaring and listening to Philip Schofield on Radio 1. Not as bad as it sounds ;-)
