my state's election results were p much entirely republicans winning, but at least we expanded medicaid. i might actually be able to get healthcare now???? i'm not 100% sure how it works or if it's as hard to get as disability, i'm having a hard time finding information about it but i think i can get help

i live in a bumfuck mostly conservative town of a rly solid blue, progressive~ state but even i can admit this place fucking sucks. imo when ppl complain like that, they're either a bit more removed from politics than they'd like to admit or identify a little to much with the ppl that r being complained abt
yeah but the difference is that those shows and breaking bad is that those are all bad and breaking bread is one of the best shows in recent memory

it's my cousin's 18th bday. i'm not rly close to him but i talk to his mom a lot. he's spoiled and i'm poor so i haven't been getting him any gifts at all butttt it's his 18th now and it seems like a big deal
i know all he wants is cash but his mom said i could just get him a shirt but should i just bite the bullet and give him $100? it would also count as from my mom. it would def hurt my finances but i won't be homeless or anything bc of it
