can't an appendix burst kill you? my aunt told me that when my cousin went to the ER but she exaggerates everything so idk what the likelihood actually is
i could be wrong, but i don't think the burst itself kills you
but when you have appendicitis your appendix is bulging with infected pus and crap and that spreads all over your abdominal cavity when it bursts, and then you're up shit creek

if yr appendix bursts then you get top triage position in an OR unless there's someone with a bleeding artery in front of you
