tbh i think it's mostly used by ppl who are either treating being trans like it's an irl game of roleplaying and make believe and/or they have such a shit self-esteem they have no self worth

this is why tumblr's obsession w/ pronouns worried me from the start bc it always seemed like a game to them from day one
