I have a lot of dislike for the word slash. In this case my biggest problem is how exclusionary it is.
Slash ships matter. F/F and M/M
It’s bi erasure, because if you’re a bi woman in a relationship with a man you’re not a slash ship. Ditto with pansexuals
It excludes asexuals.
It doesn’t address aromantics.
It excludes poly relationships.
If you’re queer and not in a relationship with your same gender than you don’t count.

The recently concluded San Diego Comic-Con was the venue for "Hannibal's" last panel. And there, Bryan Fuller, the creator of the series, explained why the show cannot be resurrected on either Amazon Prime or Netflix.
"Netflix couldn't do it because of the Amazon streaming. Amazon would liked to have done it but they wanted to do it very quickly and I wanted to be able to get all the scripts in advance before we starting shooting...the schedule with their desire to put it on immediately was just impossible for us."
He further hinted that while it is unfortunate that the show would no longer be shown on the small screen, there is a possibility that a film adaptation of "Hannibal" could soon be in the works.
"We are still looking. We don't have a lot of answers and we're looking at the possibility of a feature."
