nayrt but BC is the last province in canada to make any trans-specific legislation on protective statuses and shit, but i wouldn't say its entirely impossible that your niece would get help from child services in foster care

i would call them or maybe a lawyer who specializes in this and ask, also any trans organizations in your area that could give advice because they would know legal matters like this

thanks, i am/was going to do this. i just figured i'd post on anon to see if anyone had done something like this.

and yeah i know bc is fucked up when it comes to trans rights
