i'm reading a year of magical thinking by joan didion and i'm not really impressed with it
like i get what she's trying to do but susan sontag did this better and i can not forget that it's a rich white lady writing it.

it just really resonated with me as someone who's lost a lot of loved ones
blue nights is amazing too but if you don't like tyomt you probably won't like it either. do you like any of didion's earlier work?
