ok i don't homestuck either but tumblr osmosis has taught me this: homestuck trolls have four "relationships" of various dynamics, and only one is romantic/sexual, so they can be associated in some weird abstract way that i do not understand with other characters independently of their orientation
in homestuck, there are universes called 'alpha session' and 'beta session' and the group of 4 kids from each universe are called the alpha kids and beta kids
beta kids includes a lesbian, alpha kids includes a gay dude
people really push ot4s of each group as an answer to shipping arguments but then that leads to very homophobic implications obviously
