according to the fafsa and what the financial aid advisors at school said, you're legally considered dependent of your parents until age 24, unless you are an emancipated minor, an orphaned child, in the foster care system, or married

u have to wait until 24 or smth to be independent, unless ur an emancipated minor

if ur parents won't support u waiting a few years is not a big deal

im 18 so i would be waiting 6 years to be independent from them legally

get a jerb and wait it out or do 2 years of community college to save money before transferring

i promise non traditional students exist

did you know in a lot of places of the US, there is literally no entry-level positions available because unemployed skill workers take them up
