Communists desire to un-stablize the family unit and break its strong ties, to get the people dependent on the government rather than find support within the family. They do not want people having children, due to their obsession with population control so homosexuality is awesome in their eyes, as well as abortions as a form of 'birth control'.
The word 'Marriage' has nothing to do with taxes or property these homosexuals were concerned about, in its pure sense. So why involve the word at all and attack the covenants of a spiritual people who believe there is a higher power other than themselves or of man, that has a purpose and a plan in mind, that IS based in true love? I can tell you why.
