not that anon but i am trans, u have no idea what they're dealing with internally. maybe it's internalized misogyny, but i would be less surprised by it being internalized transphobia bc most tomboys don't decide not wearing makeup means they aren't girls. most of these ppl are teenagers/early 20's and as much as 22 y/o nonas want to think they're sooo mature most ppl that age are not working thru their shit or expressing themselves on the same level as ppl whose brains have finished developing
