i love that asmr videos are a thing. a big thing.

i love that there’s this way for neuroatypical people to find things that are soothing or calming. i love the attention videos and the strange sounds videos and i love that it’s very female-centric in it’s contributors and viewers.

and i know why people try to turn up their noses at it and scoff at it. it’s that reason right there. it’s soft and calming and soothing and all about providing for the curious eccentric needs and desires of atypical people and with a strong effeminate quality and that just bothers some people, to see something like that exist without being chided and shoved around and scrutinized. That reaction is so unsurprising and so telling.
