it was that tired old shoujo trope of a straight guy falling for a crossdressed girl and then getting a sexuality crisis about it but then it's revealed that she's a girl and whew he was just so straight that he could feel that through the disguise all along somehow

it's played out as him getting more open minded as a straight guy lbr
