did anybody else read the girl with silver eyes or w/e it was called, abt a group of kids who had telekinetic powers and silver eyes

all the kids with powers had silver eyes and i think it was just the authors way of differentiating them from ppl w/o powers

in the book everyone calls the eye color creepy so its not like "oh im so beautiful w/ my silver eyes and naturally lavender hair"

nayrt but rly, weird eye color alone doesn't make it a mary sue

also jfc it's a fantasy book for kids, not everything has to be normal and realistic all the time

yeah didnt we talk about this before? i loved that book but i was always so disappointed there wasnt a sequel, bc the other kids came in way at the end and we didnt get to see them learning how to use their powers or anything. i wanted a sequel with a hogwarts/professor X type school

okay i looked up a plot summary and i think i'm thinking of a completely different book, where the characters were living in these biodome things that were meant to replicate periods in the past (like a summer camp type thing), and it was supposed to be a secret from the protagonist, but she actually knew

idk how to google that though

and the end fight with the big bad had the main girl thrown into a pool and he tried to drown her or sth?? i remember being scaried b/c drowning scaries the shit out of me

i googled the species name, and the books were called "silver eyes" and "violet eyes"

omg NONA i was 1/3rd of the way thru the book in like 4th grade when everyone had to turn all their library books in and it was always checked out after that so i could never finish it
