it doesn't hurt and i don't remember them being long in size, but you have to keep the needle in until the pocket gets full with yr blood so i don't see how people fearing needles would like that

then again my friend fear needles but has plenty of tattoos so maybe the discomfort of a donation wouldn't be that big
