Sometimes, I look up to chickens. Seriously. Most of the time, we are so caught up in trying to be like everyone else that we forget to appreciate what makes us different. Every individual is bound to discover something about themselves that makes them stand out in a crowd, we tend to think that unless a person acts like us or shares the same ideas as us, he/she is not worthy of our time, friendship, or trust, casting the person as “different” like it is something to be ashamed of. Quite the opposite is true, finding out what makes you exclusively you is as worthy and important as it gets. No one deserves to feel bad for who they are; no one should be made to feel unimportant for standing out.
