Is anyone else noticing and becoming perturbed by the fact that Pearl never loses her whiteness in her fusions?
Like, in all of the Pearl/x fusions, instead of being a nice mix they all are dominated by Pearls white features (also her thiness).
This is not to say that I hate Pearl (I don’t) or that I hate the show (definitely not) but it’s both weird and a bit upsetting that a show with such great representation seems to keep royally dropping the ball with it’s fusions (with the exceptions of Garnet and Stevonnie).
I know a lot of people were really excited to see Rainbow Quartz and I’m totally not trying to take away from that, but in all honesty when I saw her all I could feel was disappointment. #Steven universe#pearl#we need to talk#su fusions 1 note
