ik anon is a shit place for this but i do think in some factors its hard for people to get help, but i think its a societal problem not an "this individual is inherently fucked up" problem

depends, for me ik i will always have some struggle with depression and it could get worse any time, but making peace with that did help instead of thinking it would go away forever

but telling them that they're going to magically get better isn't good either. getting help is gr8 but admitting that not everything has a cure is not horrible. depression goes into remission, there's no real cure
