when she was like 21/20 she used to call herself an at risk queer teen all the time it was so obnoxious

all the kids with powers had silver eyes and i think it was just the authors way of differentiating them from ppl w/o powers
in the book everyone calls the eye color creepy so its not like "oh im so beautiful w/ my silver eyes and naturally lavender hair"
