no she didn't, she fully transitioned and so did her friend maho chan! they even had a full arc about the misogyny about nonpassing trans girls and maho's mother accepting her
we do, but we're not talking about japan at large but a company that talks about sexuality and gender quite often and doesn't shy away from exploring the psyche. the fact that a person who was questioning doesn't magically get over that questioning by the end is amazing
maybe you're some where on the ace spectrum, like grey or demi? Or maybe autochorissexual? I know a lot of ace folks who craved affection and thought they were bi/pan/gay/etc but then when it came to actually give and receiving they were like ok nah tho. or maybe you just weren't feeling the guy sometimes people just dont click together well. regardless I don't want you to feel broken :(
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Madoka Magica, but calling the Anime that said “Only girls have enough PMS to be magical” feminist is like calling Pizza “diet food”. And interpreting Naoto and Chihiro as trans will always be a headcanon and nothing else. Heck, most people don’t even realize that the American localization of P4 greatly toned down Chie’s Social Link to hide the fact that she has giant complexes because of her being a tomboy a considers herself an “unworthy woman” and actually LOVES being called “girly” or “docile”… Things that would be considered an *insult* in Western society.
