my mom said she had a problem breastfeeding us kids bc of her small pink areolas bc we couldnt see them as well as if they'd been bigger and browner. if i can't breastfeed my kids i don't rly want kids, tbh, bc fuck that formula industry shit

the thing is, ppl think breastfeeding is something you just do, but mom and bb have to learn how, and a lot of women end up thinking there's something wrong with them or with their bodies, but there's not. you just got to learn. bbs are born knowing how to suck, but not how to nurse.
also, scandinavian women have some of the highest bfing rates in the world despite being v pale
