it is weird
if i had a 2 year old who wanted to dress or go by a name different from their birth assignment i'd let them but i wouldn't blab about how v/ v/ trans the child was they're 2

don't make a huge WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS thing out of it and let them do what feels comfortable and natural
