honestly you're going to have to go aaaaaaaaaall the way back to the history of computers back when it was just a machine with a bunch of doohickies that were either in the 0 or 1 state and they could change the states to do basic math


how that became a language where you tell a computer to calculate the way a cube bounces off another cube while simulating gravity is something beyond the capabilities of my tiny feeble mind
