i write RPF and i honestly do not give a fuck if people think it's gross or whatever negative comment(s) are spewed in every post that has RPF discussions. it seems natural to write FICTIONAL stories about existing persons moreso than anime characters or even any pre-fictional person(s) from a movie or television show. why? maybe it's easier to fit them into plots that are catered to their own personalities, or maybe it's because there's a specific connection to an actual person doing these things i/you/we read rather than a fictional character.

what it all comes down to, for me, is this: everybody has dreams about real persons, whether they're sexual or emotional or neither of the two, and THAT (personally) is a level of RPF because it's a FICTIONAL account of a real person connecting/acting in ways that are not natural to them dreamed up by a regular person who will never have contact with the celebrity/athelete/real person. i just write mine down while yours is left inside your mind.
